Description
Carex morrowii, also known as Japanese sedge, is a clump forming evergreen ornamental grass with long, narrow and arching green leaves. Irish Green’ is wonderful for shady corners of the garden. The plant forms decorative, dense clumps with a beautiful, fountain-like shape, which grow up to about 30-40 cm in height. The long, shiny, arched leaves delight with their lush green color. From April to May, the lush hairs are additionally decorated with brown ears with characteristic, long, cream anthers.
