Description
This Cordyline produces burgundy wine coloured leaves with vibrant reddish-pink edges, that can provide an epic splash of colour to pots, borders, raised beds, etc. It is a somewhat tender palm, so might need some protection during the harsher winter temperatures. A sheltered site in full sun would be best for this palm to thrive, and for the colour to show off at its most vibrant. As the lower leaves die back, the trunk will slowly build its way upwards to about 2m, so overall it will still stay relatively compact. It will grow in most soil types, providing it is well-drained.
