Dryopteris ‘Crispa Cristata’

Description

This clump-forming, semi-evergreen fern is perfect for woodland gardens or shaded architectural borders. It produces long, upright fronds with crested tips, giving the foliage a crisp, crinkled effect. Lush green fronds first emerge from early to mid, but darken to a more forrest-green as the season progresses. It can sometimes retain some foliage during the winter, but will benefit from a spring prune-back in order to keep the plant looking its best. Height 60-90cm, spread 60-80cm.
