Description
This St John’s Wort plant is perfect for low maintenance ground cover. Hypericum x dummeri ‘Peter Dummer’ is semi-evergreen and has small yellow flowers, with orange anthers, between July and September. In autumn red-flushed conical fruits appear, and the foliage has red-hues. It is a very durable plant and will thrive in most conditions, including dry soils, near walls, or beneath large conifer trees.
The plant has a bushy rounded habit, and planted together, can create a low carpet of foliage and flowers. This easy going shrub will virtually look after itself. Perfect for areas that might be underplanted, or don’t get much attention.
