Description
Evergreen Ligustrum Lucidum Espalier with long, pointed glossy leaves.
Very fast growing with rounded canopy. Glossy, medium-green, oval-shaped leaves. Large clusters of small white flowers in late spring, followed by huge crop of small black berries that sprout profusely.
It’s is a tough performing tree that will thrive on most soils, although it is best to avoid water logged areas. Like its green counterpart, this Chinese Privet is a good choice for planting as a screening tree or to block an unnecessary view.
This is grown as a standard tree, with a clear stem of around 2m and a 1.4 (w) x 1.2(h) frame.
