Description
This Purple Moor Grass has tall, airy panicles of flowers, held above the leaves, through summer and autumn. The flower plumes turn from dark red to purple as the season progresses and the winter foliage turns a rich yellow, giving fantastic shape and colour in frosty weather. One of the better grasses for giving slender architectural form to the border. A great see-through plant that looks great planted with the likes of Verbena bonariensis.
Cut back as the foliage starts to collapse in early spring.
Flowers: July-October. Plant in sun or partial shade
