Physocarpus opulifolius ‘Darts Gold’ is a stylish deciduous shrub with bright coloured foliage, golden-green maturing to green with golden-bronze hues in autumn and clusters of white blooms in early summer. It’s ideal for growing in a mixed herbaceous border and looks fantastic when grown alongside purple coloured plants.
For best results grow Physocarpus opulifolius ‘Darts Gold’ in moist but well-drained soil in sun or partial shade. Avoid chalky soils. Prune regularly to encourage colourful new growth.
