Rhododendron ‘Fumiko’

This dwarf evergreen Azalea produces masses of small reddish-purple flowers in May and into June, which are very attractive to bumblebees and other pollinators. Its compact habit makes it an ideal addition to rockeries or borders, and works really well in planting with Heathers, grasses and compact conifers. Prefers acidic soil conditions, and so should be planted with Ericaceous compost. It is most suited to partial shade, but will tolerate full sun if it is kept well-watered. Height and spread 70-90cm.
