Hydrangea Paniculata Phantom

Description

Hydrangea paniculata, bears broad flower cones rather than rounded heads like mophead or lacecap hydrangeas flowering from late summer to autumn. They are less sensitive to the pH of the soil than many hydrangeas, but benefit from growing in moist but well-drained, fertile soil.

Hydrangea ‘Phantom’ has enormous white flower panicles, which emerge pale green in early summer and fade to white as they mature. For best results, prune back ‘Phantom’ back hard to around 30cm above ground level each year, and mulch with a thick layer of well-rotted organic matter.
