Chaenomeles Mango Storm make a big impact in the garden in more ways than one. Blooming with vibrant, punchy flowers from spring through to summer, its height and appearance will become a focal point in your outdoor areas during the warmer months. Mango Storm is a well-rounded shrub with good hardy qualities and able to flourish in quite dry conditions and soil types. This Chaenomeles blooms with a peachy-orange shade of large double flowers that usually measure 2inches (5cm) across. It is a flowering quince variety but unlike most in this family, it does not have spines and therefore won’t produce fruit. This decorative display is a joy to experience when the flowers are in full effect from March to July.
