Description

Dianella Cassa Blue is a clump-forming, compact, evergreen perennial that produces narrow, striking blue-green leaves. The evergreen foliage can create beautiful interest throughout the winter months. In late summer/autumn, purple-blue star-shaped flowers with yellow centres emerge, which can often turn to purple berries that can be of some benefit for wildlife. These will grow best in a full sun/dappled shade location, and also prefers a bit of shelter to keep it looking its best. It can be a fantastic plant for pots or for mass-planting, and looks great amongst greens, reds and other contrasting shades in the garden. It grows to a max height and spread of about 45-60cm.
