Description
Fagus Dawyck is a great alternative to the more commonly planted fastigiate trees of oaks and hornbeam. It originated and takes its name from Dawyck in Scotland. A beautiful medium sized (8-12m) deciduous tree with a very columnar form, which rarely exceeds more than 3 metres width, is ideal for specimen planting, wide verges or to form an avenue. Dawyck varieties come in 3 colours but these ones are Dawyck Green.
