Description
An improved version of Ophiopogon ‘Nigrescens’ with reliably ebony black, narrower and more upright leaves. Its small bell-shaped flowers are lilac. Such an impact for such a little plant, it looks like a grass but isn’t but packs so much more punch.
Forming a spreading clump of beautiful ebony foliage, leaves, 10-35 cm long. In July it produced tiny bell-shaped flowers, light lilac, in racemes of 4-8 cm. Equally tiny little blue/black berries in Autumn
