Pittosporum tenuifolium Dark Diva

Description

Pittosporum ‘Dark Diva’ is a medium to large evergreen shrub with small, ovate leaves that are bright green when young, maturing to a very deep purple-black, providing stunning contrast. The dark foliage makes a great back drop for other foliage greens and pops of flower colours in the garden. It grows to about 3m in height with a spread of 2-3m. It has a reasonably fast growth rate, and a dense bushy habit which makes it also suitable to use as hedging. It can be pruned to maintain at any desired height or shape, and is particularly useful in seaside gardens as it is highly tolerant to coastal conditions.
