Description

Pittosporum ‘Elisabeth’ is a dense evergreen shrub with a neat habit, growing upright into a tall column. It has variegated grey-green foliage that are fringed with cream and vibrant pink. Tiny inconspicuous purple flowers are produced in late spring/early summer that have a slight honey-like fragrance. Very tolerant of coastal winds and sea-salt exposure, Pittosporum can make a fantastic hedge in seaside gardens. In gardens more inland, it will grow best in a sunny, sheltered site, although it will also tolerate semi-shade. Very easy to prune and maintain at any desired size, it can make a stunning addition to any garden, while also being suitable for pots and planters. Height and spread 3-4m approx.
