Description
These Portuguese laurel has been grown with stems ranging in height from 90 – 150cm and with dark green, lustrous elegant leaves in a slightly rounded almost conical shaped head. There are white flowers in slender upright racemes in early summer but it is primarily grown for its strong shape. Dark purple-black fruits in autumn. With a lovely tidy shape they are ideal for framing an area or either side of a front entrance or door, try planting two leading down steps or onto a lawn.
