Salvia nemerosa Rose Queen

Description

A hardy, upright perennial with strong, slender spikes of rose-pink flowers which are highly attractive to bees, butterflies and other pollinators. The flowers emerge from deep pink buds, starting from early to mid June. Flowers persist throughout the summer, and if pruned back hard in mid July, the plant will rejuvenate for a second flush of colour which will carry into the autumn. Growing to a height of about 60cm, it’s the perfect low to medium height perennial to add to mixed borders and raised beds for long-lasting colour throughout the summer.
