Description
Sorbus commixta Dodong, also known as Sorbus Olympic Flame, or the Japanese Rowan.
A mass of creamy white flowers appear in spring sat amongst bronze – green slender leaves, followed by an abundance of glossy orange – red berries which look especially exquisite on the background of lush green foliage. The leaves then turn to a fantastic fiery orange – red inspiring the name ‘Olympic Flame.’
The Sorbus Dodong maintains a neat, slender profile making it a suitable tree for avenues, street planting and any sized garden.
