Description

Spiraea ‘Golden Princess’ is a compact, deciduous shrub with a clumping habit. Leaves emerge in spring with bronze-red tint, which turn to a bright yellow over the summer months, before returning to shades of oranges and reds in late autumn. In summer it produces tiny, starry pink flowers that cluster in large heads. From early summer it produces clusters of bright pink flowers that contrast nicely against the foliage. It grows best in areas of full sun but will tolerate some dappled shade. A great low-maintenance plant for mixed shrub borders, or for mass planting in open spaces. Max height and spread 60-80cm approx.
