Description
Viburnum plicatum ‘Kilimanjaro’ is a stunning deciduous shrub with a pyramidal habit, slowly growing to an eventual height of 2.5-3m with a 2m spread. In late spring, an abundance of white flowers emerge in clusters, which fade to pink as they mature. The old flowers will later form red berries in the autumn. ‘Kilimanjaro’ is particularly special, as in autumn more flowers appear, although not quite as prolific as the spring display. The late flowers are complimented by the changing autumnal leaves, as they turn shades of orange, gold and red. A hardy, low maintenance shrub suitable for most soil types, and will tolerate full sun or shaded positions.
