Description
A variety off of the typical Yucca gloriosa, this form has stunning cream-white variegation on its leaf margins which contrast beautifully against the blue-green centre. It is a very hardy succulent which can tolerate high exposure and coastal winds. It has an architectural structure, with long, rigid pointed leaves that are quite sharp at the tips. Creamy white flowers are produced on long shoots above the foliage in early summmer, which have a slight fragrance. It is very slow growing, but will gradually grow upwards on a strong trunk that develops as the old, lower leaves die away. It requires full sun and well-draining soil, and can also be grown in a pot.
