Description

Sorbus ‘Rossica Major’ is a naturally uniform variety of Rowan that maintains a neat, slender profile as it matures. Clusters of small white flowers will be in abundance in late May/June, which will then form into masses of deep red berries by August/September. Like many other Sorbus varieties, a stunning display of vibrant red and orange will occur in the foliage as the autumn progresses, before the leaves fall for winter. The flowers and berries have great wildlife benefits, and will attract various pollinators and birds to the garden. It grows to a height of 6-8m, while maintaining a tidy maximum width of approx. 4m.
