Description
Cornus florida ‘Daybreak, also known as ‘Cherokee Daybreak’, is a variety of North American Flowering Dogwood with attractive variegated foliage, typically grown as a large shrub or small multi-stemmed tree. In May, green flowers are produced surrounded by 4 large, showy white bracts which carries colour right throughout June. Its variegated foliage is cream edged with grey-green, and in autumn it turns to shades of pink to deep pink/red. After the leaves fall, vibrant red fruits persist on the tree into winter, carrying interest throughout every season. It has a beautiful spreading form, and would make a stunning focal point in the garden. Maximum height and spread is approximately 4-6m.
This specimen is supplied in a large 230L pot, and currently measures 250-300cm in height.
