Description
Crataegus monogyna, commonly known as Hawthorn, is a small, rounded deciduous tree with glossy, deeply lobed green leaves. These particular specimens are in a very attractive multistem form. In May, a profusion of cream flowers are produced which gradually change to light pink as we come into June. The flowers are followed by dark red berries in autumn. A fantastic feature tree, with many wildlife benefits particularly for pollinators and birds.
