Description
Ficus carica Goutte de Miel which translates to Honey Drop produces golden yellow figs with pinkish, honeyed and fragrant flesh. It is one of the sweetest figs; like honey. When the figs are ripe, a drop of sugar flows from the underside of the fig signifying that it is ripe.
There are two harvest periods, in a good year : the first at the end of June and the second from the end of August.
The honey drop fig tree is a small tree with a slightly twisted trunk with a moderate growth, it can reach 4 meters in height as well as in width.
