Description
Hydrangea Paniculata Candlelight is named after it’s unusual and extremely attractive flowers. These flower heads appear from mid to late summer in large conical heads that reach upward on flexible dark red stems. Blooms emerge creamy-white but in September base petals mature to a deep pink that creeps upwards to the creamy white tip. This gives the impression of a small flame or candlelight.
Its foliage is oval-shaped with a pointed tip and textured, veiny dark green. In autumn, as the candlelight flowers are fading away, foliage matures into an attractive yellowy-orange before falling with the frosts.
